SESAME OIL PROCESSING / REFINING PLANTS

The process is straight forward and standardized. Sun-dried seeds are cleaned on shaker screen to remove stone, dust etc. and then they are fed to the expeller where the oil is extracted. This process is repeated to extract maximum oil. Oil is then filtered on filter press which refines it, before being packed. About 35% oil is extracted and residue is known
